Job Description
- Motivating and mentoring the Team
- Setting and reviewing performance objectives
- Monitor workflow of the team
- Set and agree cash collection target KPIs
- Ensure a high standard of work output and quality of information within the team
- Provide reports for the Senior Partners and managers as required
- Set cash collection and debt reduction targets
- Prepare cash-flow forecast in-line with the firms cash collection targets
- Optimise cash flow and minimise lock up
- Prepare monthly board report on credit control performance
- Perform regular due diligence on credit control reporting
- Manage relationships with the firms collection agents
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of a credit control function, gained within an International Law firm
- Detailed knowledge of Solicitors Accounting Rules and VAT
- Excellent analytical and financial skills
- Ability to lead a team, including goal setting and performance management
- Excellent communication skills, developed in a partnership environment
