Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding IT department at our Head Office in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. At Gateway, we are looking for the ideal individual to help us continue to maintain and develop our technological infrastructure and by doing so, further enhance our customer and client experience.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record in design, managing and troubleshooting with the following:

- Hyper-V 2016 onwards including replication

- MS Windows server 2012 onwards and AD

- MS Exchange Server 2016 / 2019 (On Premises)

- Firewall configuration

- Linux Server including CLI

- Avaya IP Office and VOIP technology

- Microsoft Windows

- Sage Accounts and HR

- Apple MacOS and IOS devices

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

In addition, the perfect candidate must have a solid understanding of:

- LAN / WAN and VPN technologies connecting multiple sites

- Network Security, Anti-virus, and Spam management

- Database technologies including SQL

- Backup and CDR technologies

- Web technologies and security (this does not include Web Design)
