Job Description

Acting as a valued business partner and leader for the finance team, the CFO will be responsible for rebuilding, reorganizing, restructuring the finance function. Responsibilities include overseeing and improving all financial aspects, and implementing strong systems, processes, and controls to commercialise and professionalise the business. This will add strategic, operational, and commercial value, ensuring detailed and incisive reporting, analysis, and forecasting is delivered to the highest standard. Ultimately ensuring the business fulfils its ambitious growth strategy for a supportive PE partner.

You will act as a role model to the finance team, where strong leadership and strategic qualities drive the transformation of the finance function.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA)
• An autonomous CFO or #1 FD with experience in a PE Backed business
• A track record of implementing and improving accounting systems, processes and management information and financial reporting.
• Be proactive and entrepreneurial with exceptional interpersonal skills, and be a skilled communicator.
