Key responsibilities include: -
* Budget monitoring
* Pulling together the information for future year budgets - and work on the MTFP
* Staff management
* Working on year end
* Both roles also oversee the capital expenditure for there areas
* Pulling together or providing information for the quarterly reporting
* Constantly looking for better ways for working
* Other adhoc reporting and duties that might also be required
To be successful in the role you should either be a CCAB qualified accountant or finalist, with detailed knowledge and experience obtained within a similar role, preferably within the public sector or local government, experience of staff management and a demonstrable record of completed projects within a time pressured environment is essential.
