The role is primarily book keeping and VAT return preparation and completing accounts preparation up to trial balance.
Preparation of CIS returns and reconciliation of CIS control accounts
Posting of Journals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations, i.e. bank, Debtors, Creditors, PAYE and CIS, calculation of accruals and prepayments.
Production of management reporting packs
Payroll
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Xero
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
Self-motivated and ability to work independently to tight deadlines
Confident and polite telephone manner
Ability to work as a team
Excellent numeracy skills and accurate data entry
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and always aiming to deliver excellent customer service
