Job Description

• Accountable for the preparation and production of the accounts to ensure all numbers are correct and all accounting tasks are complete.
• Responsible for the preparation of annual budgets, this includes income and capital valuations and reporting to the budget holders to communicate the figures.
• Working closely with the Finance Officer and Deputy Director of Finance to assist and support with upcoming projects, modelling and budget preparation.
• Playing a crucial part in monitoring management accounts for all the services throughout the year.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will have:

• Worked in the public sector in a similar role.
• Started studying towards a professional accounting qualification or be a minimum of AAT level 2 qualified.
• Excellent communication skills and be great at relationship building.
• A drive to develop their skills.
