Our Requirements
Assisting the Senior Stock Controller by
- Gaining a solid understanding of company products
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Chasing suppliers for order confirmations and delivery dates.
- Checking order confirmations against purchase orders. Rectifying errors with suppliers.
- Produce and maintain the open order report and informing sales team of any discrepancies or delay with products.
- Produce and maintain supplier delivery metrics report to monitor supplier performance
- Produce and maintain customer back order report to assist purchasing team.
- Informing website team to update prices and product information on website.
- Checking delivery notes with purchase orders and resolving with suppliers
- Raising supplier returns & follow up with supplier.
- Arranging transport as required for returns or collections
- Matching & checking supplier invoices with purchase orders
- Chasing supplier for bills/credit notes.
- Assisting the Purchasing team as required to ensure product levels are constant.
- Working with purchasing,marketing and sales to optimise stock levels, including slow moving items.
- Purchasing non-sale items to meet business needs.
- Assist in the sourcing of new products to assist as necessary.
- Other administration tasks as required.
- Covering for purchasing if required.
- Internal customer back order reports across all sectors.
