Job Description
This is a new role, giving the successful Bookkeeper a great opportunity to lead the implementation of new systems and processes
- Produce invoices
- Coordinate with Studio Manager to chase clients for payments
- Reconcile sales invoices
- Prepare Sales ledger and receivable details
- Process and pay all bills (including suppliers, procurement, shipping)
- Prepare Accounts payable reports
- Manage all finances of 'after-sales customer service': credit notes, refunds
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards and petty cash
- Resolve payment errors
- Validate all team expenses (pre-payment)
- Manage cash flow weekly (cash position, forecast incomings and outgoings)
- Generate reports and present in regular financial meeting: cash flow, P&L, forecast, team costs, projects profitability, etc.
- Work alongside the studio manager and external accountant
- Key support role in the company, reporting directly to the co-founders, participating in the overall growth and development of the studio
- Bookkeeping
- File all financial data and documents
- Liaise with Project Managers for project billing and payment schedules
- All payroll figures (salaries, Paye, pension amounts)
- Quarterly VAT returns: validate calculations and process payment
- Managing & end of year accounts, review calculations with directors and process tax payments.
