Job Description

You will form part of a dynamic team of professionals within our Finance function. You will mainly provide executive support to the Group Chief Financial Officer but will also assist the Finance Leadership Team on an ad hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive diary management – managing the Group CFO’s busy diary to ensure no conflicts and maximum use of time.
  • On occasions, diary management for visitors and Leadership team
  • Liaison and engagement with Group CFO’s key stakeholders (including direct reports and other EAs)
  • Preparation for various meetings, both online and in person, ensuring papers are provided for review by the Group CFO in good time and meeting packs/itineraries/agendas are provided as required
  • Schedule and arrange the logistics for a wide range of meetings including collating and printing supporting material
  • Making all domestic and international travel arrangements in good time for the planned trips, producing detailed itineraries
  • Preparing expense reports
  • Answering phone/Teams calls into the office and dealing with or passing on messages effectively
  • Arranging lunches and refreshments as required and meeting & greeting guests
  • Dealing with inbox management, correspondence, expenses, holiday booking and general administration
  • Organising company events including offsites and socials
  • Undertaking projects as required including production of presentations and spreadsheets
  • Ad hoc tasks – many and varied, including some personal organisational work for the Group CFO

Within the first 3 months the successful candidate will have become an integral member of the Finance team, providing accurate and timely executive support and be able to navigate company systems and processes – being a ‘go to’ person as required. They will have quickly built an internal network to ensure their responsibilities are proactively completed.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experienced PA/EA with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Enthusiastic, passionate, and committed to business excellence
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities whilst maintaining an excellent attention to detail
  • Delivery focused and able to understand and anticipate the business needs
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and clients. An effective and approachable team player
  • Exhibit the highest levels of integrity, to be discreet and the ability to maintain and value confidentiality
  • Experienced in working with complex and sensitive information
  • Flexible with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Sound/Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Previous EA or PA experience at C-Suite level within an international Insurance or Financial Services organization
