Job Description
  • Working 3 days a week
  • Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard
  • Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure -
  • Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
  • Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
  • Recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
  • Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
  • Preparing employee wages
  • Managing employee expense claims and salary
  • Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • You'll have previously worked as a Bookkeeper.
  • Experienced and competent in Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Positive can do attitude.
  • You'll be analytical, inquisitive and challenge the status quo.
  • Naturally a team player and the ability to manage change positively.
  • AAT or other relevant bookkeeping/finance qualifications desirable but not essential.
