Job Description

This is an amazing opportunity for a qualified accountant with previous sports experience to take a step up in a business that is growing rapidly. Managing a team of 2-3 Finance Managers key duties will include:

• Business partnering the two directors, assisting them commercially with support on contract re-negotiations with football and motor racing associations and other rights holders and customers
• Closing out month end for the group, consolidating and reporting to group
• Monthly calculation of revenue accruals/deferrals
• Oversee weekly cash flow actuals/forecast reporting to bank/group with support of finance managers
• Preparation/consolidation of budgets/forecasts for the group
• Oversee year end stat accounts/audit process
• Overseeing processes including payment runs, sales invoicing etc.

Our client would love to meet people who have a strong technical background (ACA or equivalent) who have then moved into more commercial roles in industry. A background in sports rights is highly desirable.
