Job Description

• We’re looking for someone to work as part of a team to help our business in making sure all model portfolio restrictions are adhered to and portfolios are constructed in a timely manner
• Day-to-day, you’ll be constructing and managing all investment model portfolios, making sure that they are suitable for different client groups, risk profiles and client outcomes

• Guiding the portfolio construction function to make sure defensive, balanced growth investment models and portfolios are compliant in line with legal or structural restrictions
• Providing feedback and investment analysis to colleagues, committees, and forums
• Making sure investment models are in line with risk and performance objectives and providing investment guidance to the portfolio construction team on client implementation decisions
• Supporting your team in communicating and promoting the department’s investment view and asset allocation to clients and wealth managers
• Adhering to legal and regulatory restrictions for fund and segregated model portfolios

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring knowledge of portfolio management and construction. We’ll expect you to have a background in managing multi-asset portfolios. You’ll also have the ability to develop investment portfolios to meet the needs of clients, ranging from retail through to high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. You’ll have investment or portfolio management experience with a preference for cross-asset class experience.

• An understanding of how to support construction and implementation of multi-asset funds
• Knowledge of investment model management and construction, as well as an ability to manage multi-asset investment portfolios
