Job Description
The main duties will be covering outsourced bookkeeping and management accounting functions for the company’s clients, preparing figures to trial balance level and helping prepare management accounts and analysis.
Main duties:
- Accounts/Bookkeeping
- Posting sales/purchase invoices and reconciling sales and purchase ledgers
- Posting receipts and payments and reconciling bank accounts
- Preparing and posting month end journals including; accruals, prepayments, deferred income and expenditure and depreciation
- Input stock movements and reconciling with trial balance figures
- Posting month end salary information
- Close down month end reports and year end balances
- Preparation and submission of client’s monthly/quarterly VAT returns under MTD
- Deal with any queries which may arise from clients as primary contact for own portfolio of clients
- Opportunity to support management of trainees and apprentices
