Job Description

You will be responsible for the month end processing and reporting, ensuring timely delivery for the Financial Controller’s review. They will take ownership for preparing the cash flow report and running analysis as well as liaising with the auditors & any finance providers and supervising payroll. You will oversee operational finance tasks such as preparing VAT returns, as well as managing the accounting system and ensuring accurate entry and reporting.

You will also work with the Information Management Systems (IMS) team to develop and implement effective finance solutions to improve process and reporting efficiency. Like any busy finance function, ad-hoc tasks will occur daily, and a key part of the role will be supporting the team day-to-day and ensuring they have direction and understand priorities.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Significant financial accounts preparation experience
  • Experience using SAP
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • A “roll your sleeves up” mind-set
  • A desire to lead and coach individuals
