Job Description

The main purpose of this role is to administer payroll data and ensure accurate and timely submissions to the payroll system, whilst maintaining correct records to satisfy the external auditors.

Duties:

  • Inputting starter and leavers information on to payroll system with a high level of accuracy 
  • Issuing tax form and checking eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Processing numerous payrolls weekly for over 9000 employees, processing the wages journal, dealing with payroll queries
  • Reconciling wages accounts and carry out payroll calculations such as maternity, paternity, sickness and pension
  • Checking timesheets and amend when needed
  • Create and analyzing reports on timesheet statistics using Excel
  • Answering payroll queries promptly and effectively via telephone and email

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The company are looking for candidates who have had some exposure to payroll but will consider candidates who have very good administration experience who want a career in payroll.
