Job Description

The Department has the responsibility for all HR related aspects through the employee lifecycle; from people administration to partnering with site leaders. The key objective of the HR Administrator is to ensure delivery of HR support services to line managers and employees. This is a new role and an excellent opportunity for an individual to bring best practice and to be an integral part to the setup of the department, working alongside the HR Director to deliver a comprehensive, efficient, and professional HR service.

  • Provide HR Administration duties, updating, creation, maintenance and archiving of Personnel Files. Including maintaining the integrity of Workday records, payroll input and administration of all site benefits
  • Manage the Site Induction and on boarding process for New Hires, so new employees feel fully integrated into the and are able to contribute quickly to the objectives of the site.
  • Proactive management and administration/monitoring of probationary periods for all employees.
  • Conducting exit interviews, analyzing the data and working with the HR Director to feedback on any key trends and themes that result.
  • Support the implementation and delivery of key HR Projects at sites.
  • Provide support to the SLT with regards to engagement activities on site, including Engagement Team and other activities. 
  • Supporting employee relations matters with setting up meetings, room bookings and note-taking.
  • Manage the internal communication framework, delivering and maintaining the integrated communication tools, including the Catalent Central, so employees feel appropriately informed about ongoing business activities.
  • Provide ad-hoc Administration support to the site when required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Math & English Level 3 CIPD
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment using own initiative and minimal supervision
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment, preferably in a similar role
  • Flexible mindset, can do attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate diplomatic skills
  • Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to develop yourself and the role by working out the role parameters
  • Strong organizational/prioritization skills
  • Act as a team player to support and develop colleagues within the HR function and across various departments
  • Ability to create, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Results and customer focus
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Experience of working with/implementing an e-filing system
  • Good knowledge of GDPR requirements 
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Teams)Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Experience of working with HR information systems (e.g. Peoplesoft, Workday)
