Duties of the role include:

• The preparation of and assistance with monthly management accounts
• Supervising a small ledger team and overseeing large volume transactions
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing and developing staff (small team of 3)
• Working with the finance team, other departments and directors to improve processes
• Dealing with stock accounting

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• A part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• A confident user of both accounting systems and Excel (confident using vlookups/pivot tables)
• A person who is naturally diligent and takes pride in their level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A person who has experience within a fast moving / changeable environment such as manufacturing / FMCG / retail
• A person who has the ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels including senior management
• A naturally hard-working, confident and outgoing professional
