HR Administrator

Job Description

The role will involve various HR administration duties including recruitment processing, letter writing, administering various documents throughout an employee life-cycle, and entering data onto the RVC’s HR/Payroll system (iTrent).

Ideally, you will have experience of working with HR databases and of working in the Higher Education Sector

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous HR experience in a similar role or relevant administrative experience
  • Knowledge of recruitment processing from advertising roles to organizing interviews
  • Experience arranging offer letters, contracts, and new starter documents
  • Experience processing documents for payroll administration, such as maternity leave, change of hours and leaver documents
  • Experience of providing HR advice and guidance, referring to policies and procedures where necessary
  • Open and confident communicator with the ability to liaise with employees at all levels
  • Customer-focused and committed to professional, accurate and timely administrative support
  • Excellent team player who can use own initiative to priorities and manage busy workload
  • Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
