Job Description

This opportunity will involve the responsibility of working to the highest standards to attract and source candidates in a challenging sector to reduce vacancy rates, agency spend and minimize turnover of new starters while ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements for Recruitment and HR Administration are met.

What you'll do

  • Be pro-active and creative towards recruitment and the individual staff needs of each service.
  • Liaise closely with the Senior management Team around recruitment needs and staff obstacles as they arise
  • Direct sourcing of candidates using various recruitment tools.
  • Producing recruitment adverts and recruitment marketing material and setting up and running recruitment events and job fairs.
  • Screening candidates and shortlisting them for interview.
  • Maintain employee personal information in our centralized HR system.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of confidentiality, equality and diversity across the sector.
  • Process reference requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Check time sheets against rotas and work closely with payroll to report absence, changes and leaver information.
  • Advise Managers of probationary review dates and Annual Appraisals and send out letters accordingly.
  • Participate and support the implementation of ongoing projects relating to HR Admin.
  • Provide support with general administration duties as required.
  • Travel may be required to various locations to support recruitment campaigns or to attend meetings.
  • Be responsible for the production of new starter contracts and offer letters
  • Take a lead role in any disciplinary/HR processes, produce meeting notes and outcome letters where appropriate
  • Liaise with our partners at Peninsula surrounding all disciplinary/HR concerns
  • Work closely with payroll to ensure that all staff receive the appropriate numeration each month

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A self-motivated and proactive individual with a can-do and creative attitude.
  • Proven experience in a dedicated recruitment role essential.
  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and able to work to critical deadlines
  • Able to priorities own projects and support the team objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages.
  • Time management.
  • Awareness of HR and GDPR statutory guidance desired.
  • An A level of education or equivalent is preferred but not essential
  • Be able to provide the appropriate evidence of your COVID19 vaccination status

Experience:

  • Human resources: 10 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driving License (required)
