Job Description
To support the HR Manager in providing a seamless HR service by managing the various administrative and recruitment-related processes which underpin all HR operations. This role will suit an approachable individual who has an appreciation for professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity, and who wishes to gain or build on generalist HR experience (depending on qualifications) in a fast-paced environment.
Main tasks and duties:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR function, providing clerical and administrative support to the HR Manager.
- Assist with the co-ordination of recruitment and selection, tracking headcount requisitions and checking Right to Work in the UK, including use of SMS (online Sponsorship Management System).
- Oversee onboarding procedures in conjunction with hiring managers, including preparing contracts, seeking references and DBS checks, diarising probationary period reviews, liaising with internal payroll and entering joiner details into the HR database.
- Oversee off boarding procedures, including preparing resignation acceptance letters and liaising with line managers and IT.
- Log and track absence, producing reports and liaising with internal payroll when required.
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects from time to time.
- Operate HR database, inputting information and running reports.
- Deal with or escalate employee enquiries as necessary.

- Maintain headcount data and org charts.
- Assist in mail merges from time to time, such as company-wide correspondence.
