Job Description

Due to growth, our client are recruiting for a newly created role as a Bookkeeper to join their small, fast-paced team in Henley-on-Thames and provide day to day support to the Finance Manager. As a global outsourcing partner they provide end-to-end packaging solutions to many of the world’s leading food chains, occupy three warehouse facilities and trade internationally.

Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important attributes for this position, as well as the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker and is committed to constantly meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchase and sales ledger
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Raising and distributing invoices and monthly account statements
  • Credit control
  • Report generation (debtors, profit and loss, etc)
  • Supporting the day to day running of the office
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Organizing payments schedules

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong experience working in accounts payable and receivable and general ledger.
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage.
  • Experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation.
  • Multi-currency experience in a business that trades internationally.
