Job Description

This is a newly created role to provide high level support to the Finance Director and the wider business. This organisation is continuing to experience a high level of growth and this role is pivotal in ensuring Finance is aligned with the continued challenges faced with such growth. We desire a high calibre individual with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in a similar sized business.

• Management of daily finance operations and processes, with 1 direct report and 4 indirect reports.
• Working closely with the Finance Manager to develop and mentor their performance and that of the teams.
• Delivery of timely, accurate and detailed financial reporting to the Board of Directors.
• Provision of detailed budgeting and forecasting information on a rolling month basis, supported by detailed variance analysis and commentary.
• Delivery and continued improvement to existing Board pack.
• Working capital management including cash flow analysis and reporting, Trade Finance management and FX.
• Assisting FD in maintaining and improving upon the company's FX hedging strategy to minimise exposure.
• Overseeing the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors/stakeholders.
• Continuous improvement in the Finance Department
• Working closely with Head of Departments from across the business to provide key financial and analytical guidance.
• Continuously improve business reporting and ease of access to financial and operational information.
• Active involvement in the commercials of the business to drive real positive change.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will need to be a Qualified Accountant with proven experience in similar role.
