Core Duties:
* Monthly management accounts, both to Group & Internally, to agreed timescales.
* Variance analysis and commentary around performance.
* Present proactive and meaningful financial analysis to key stakeholders in the business
* Create a real and active partnership with both operations and management.
* Support the financial planning process (rolling forecast, quarterly and yearly budget).
* Monitoring and reporting of KPI data.
* Process review and improvement.
* Support the financial audit and preparation of Statutory accounts .
* Ownership of month-end close (Sales & Purchase ledger, Bank, Accrued purchases).
* Monthly, Half-year & Annual Group reporting for the two UK entities.
* Production of Management accounts for the local management team with detailed analysis of key areas and cost driver.
* Analytical and process minded.
* Problem solving approach.
* Comfortable with working to strict deadlines.
* Meticulous consideration to detail.
* Understanding of organisational processes.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Willingness to get involved in the businesses on a day-to-day basis.
* Expert IT skills to include Microsoft office and ERP systems.
* Self-driven and motivated.
* Accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
