Job Description

This is a generalist HR position with duties including issuing contracts of employment, making amendments to terms, issuing probation letters, preparing minutes, ensuring employee files are up to date, collating and distributing information for payroll and finance, updating induction materials, creating and cross-checking job descriptions, keeping holiday and sickness records, liaising with managers on training opportunities, issuing pay increase and bonus letters, holding meetings with managers to encourage correct use of the HR system, supporting with HR projects, taking control of all HR system admin, dealing with queries across the business, running weekly reports, supporting with recruitment including interviews, references and background checks and various other tasks to support the HR Manager.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This HR Assistant job is a fantastic opportunity for somebody keen to get their foot in the door or to gain more experience in a HR capacity, potentially in line with CIPD studies (which will be supported). Working closely alongside experienced HR teams, this role has a lot of growth potential but also the chance to get a lot of exposure to many HR areas.
