Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Credit Controller to work for our client, an innovative global industry leader and food tech pioneer. You will need demonstrable experience working as part of a high-volume credit control function with very high throughput of clients and a diverse range of size of debt.

You would play a key role as part of a high performing, client focused transaction processing team that delivers services to a high standard, providing support for end-to-end finance transaction processing and driving process improvement through accuracy and innovation.

You will be required to take ownership of your own ledger ensuring that all due invoices are paid according to contractual terms and Credit Policy. You will proactively chase customers for invoices that are due and where there is a deviation from policy, ensuring the necessary steps have been taken to recover the aged debt, driving a detailed resolution plan. You will also need to liaise with the sales, service, operations and regional branches on a regular basis ensuring that procedures and policies are adhered to, considered and implemented appropriately.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience working in a credit control / collections position or as part of a high-volume finance function
  • Able deal with all levels, internally and externally and be able and willing to make quick, effective decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and professional telephone manner
  • The ability to treat all clients and colleagues in a fair and appropriate manner
  • Proactive approach, organized and efficient
  • Ability to grasp knowledge quickly as well as work independently
