Job Description
This pivotal role provides a highly commercial financial partnership to our expanding business, enabling focus on topline sales and driving profitability. The role is commercial and broad and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced and ever evolving environment.
This is a highly independent role, working with a range of senior stakeholders across the business and owning the commercial finance agenda. Ensure financial targets are set, monitored, and delivered and communicated to stakeholders to provide a clear understanding of business performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for the production of Global five year & short-term plans / budgets / forecasts and reporting (Sales, margin, KPIs and costs). Provide and ensure adhoc analysis is accurate and produced in a timely manner.
- Consult with channel owners across retail, ecommerce, wholesale & franchise and agree forecast sales, costs and profit targets and influencing corrective action as and when required.
- Provide insight on variances and work with the business to drive performance to stay on target
- Partner with the Operating Board to develop appropriate strategies for their respective areas and support the delivery of the overall business strategy including long range plans, annual plans and reforecasts including weekly 1:1’s to resolve financial issues
- Support business partners by both understanding and influencing the underlying drivers of performance to help drive the top and bottom line
- Continually challenge current thinking / assumptions and use benchmarking to drive best practice as well as original solutions
- Presentation of results and insight at weekly trading meeting
- Provide pro-active, insightful, high-quality decision-making support ensuring business wide implications are considered

- Support CFO in delivery of cross department projects
- Assist with other areas of commercial analysis depending on the priorities of the business.

- Commercial drive, passion, and experience of the fashion retail industry
- Experience equivalent to 5 years PQE with experience equivalent to three years in a senior multi-channel commercial analysis role, including sales and margin forecasting
- Ability to think at both a strategic and operational level to help drive the business forward
- Experience of working with and influencing both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Strong data analysis skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Good time management and organizational skills
