Job Description

Your duties include consulting with managers and stakeholders to determine the scheduling, budget, and scope of the projects. This role combines the financial oversight duties of an accounting professional with the team leadership and coordination of a project manager. This role requires an excellent balance of financial expertise and organization skills, as well as the ability to set schedules and drive team member performance.

Responsibilities (include the following but are not limited to):

  • Financial Planning and Analysis - oversee projects that relate directly to an organization’s revenue and expenses, cash flow, long-term investments, and reporting and required to conduct financial due diligence and apply accounting procedures while also gathering and analyzing data from many sources at once.
  • Budget Management - help team’s complete projects according to estimated budgets and oversee project’s attainment of financial objectives as well as the ability to make well-informed decisions about emerging opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership - build and work with cross-functional teams, coordinate across departments and motivate team members to complete projects according to both internal and external deadlines.
  • Efficiency Enhancements - actively seek methods to enhance overall efficiency and performance by taking an active role in day-to-day work within the project lifecycle or identifying cost-saving opportunities at the organizational level.
  • Communication and Presentation - communicate with both team members and executives during the project lifecycle, present findings to stakeholders and effectively communicate between team members and departments, communicate goals and expectations to team members, and also share progress and ask questions of organization leaders.
  • Scheduling and Organization - work with department managers and team members to implement a project schedule and ensure that teams meet milestones throughout the project lifecycle and take an active role in preventing delays and ensuring that deliverables are completed according to schedule.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, Certified Public Accountant or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial accounting related working experience and minimum of 3 years of management accounting related working experience
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals at all levels internally as well as outside of the firm in various countries and cultures
  • Experience with SAP, HFM and other corporate enterprise reporting systems
  • Ability to work independently and team effectively with cross-functional teams, willingness to take ownership of projects, and have strong project management skills
