Job Description

You will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of a trading and sales business, in charge for the preparation of the daily profit and loss statement, whilst ensuring a strong operating control environment around trading systems and processes. In addition, core finance functionality is required from you to support the business in managing existing businesses and optimizing growth opportunities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• A qualification in business, accounting, economics, or related field is required
• Proven track record in Product Control and experience in accounting for financial markets products in a financial institution
• Extensive experience of daily P&L production
• Worked with pressures of products/trade flow and tight/frequent deadlines
• Experience of trading desk (horizontal transfers feasible e.g. operations transfer)
• Is succinct and direct in communication style, ability to use facts to support analysis
• Strong understanding of complex derivatives and financial markets
• CPA/CA qualification preferred
