Responsibilities

• Work with senior members of staff such as the Head of Operations and Finance, the Executive team, senior officers, and Business partners to ensure effective financial management. 
• Work with the Head of Operations and Finance and the Executive Leadership team to develop savings and efficiency plans and targets.
• To ensure that budget managers are provided with appropriate financial advice and support to enable them to meet their responsibilities for the planning, management and control of financial resources and delivery of value for money services.
• Work with the Head of Operations and Finance to develop finance staff embedded within to ensure that professional standards are maintained and that team members have appropriate knowledge and understanding of the front-line work delivered and the wider context/market in which the service operates

• Able to communicate effectively and convincingly to the Executive level as well as to members and senior stakeholders
