Job Description
Ideally from a practice background you may be taking your first steps into a commercial industry. There will be 3 key deliverables:
- You will assist the Finance Director and Finance Controller in preparing, consolidating & analyzing the medium to long term financial & strategic plan of the organization.
- Supported by a team of 6 you will manage the reporting & insight into the company’s commercial performance
- Ownership of the company budgeting & forecast process
Working closely with other parts of the finance team along with the wider organization you will be responsible for analysis the impacts of operational & financial decisions and their longer term impacts along with presenting potential scenarios to improve outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership, modelling and preparation of the organizations medium to longer term financial & strategic plan including management and statutory statements (Income statement, Balance sheet & Cash flow)
- Ownership of the company valuation model
- Analysis of both management & statutory financial information creating forward looking projections.
- Price, volume and efficiency projections including tracking and outcome reporting.
- Preparing scenario based decision proposals to inform the senior management decision making process
- Working with the wider finance organization to understand and model short to medium term of strategic projects
- Preparing competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to senior management
- Evaluating the company’s current assets and investments and future requirements to meet the companies demand.
- Manage the delivery of the monthly reporting required to group stakeholders namely: Monthly board reports, KPI documents etc.
- Manage the ongoing financial performance of the commercial contracts that GBRf has with its customers
- Reviewing & ensuring that any tenders or submissions for new business meet the financial criteria required by the business
- Ad-hoc analysis when required
