Job Description
In your new role, you’ll be responsible for creating and embedding a sales management framework and appropriate cost-to-serve operating model for your sector’s client base. You’ll also work closely with our strategy and product teams to make sure that relevant investment and focus is allocated to the sector. You’ll also be recognized as the highest sector-level escalation point, and a backstop for the success of the sector in hitting agreed targets.
Your top priorities will include:
- Maintaining and deepening client coverage and origination across financial institutions (FI) in the target sector, driving cross-sell opportunities across the client base
- Accountability for the day-to-day management and ownership of the sector coverage division
- Actively liaising with the Head of Product Development & Customer Journeys to make sure the franchise represents a relevant and competitive proposition in the market
- Actively managing and representing sector needs at a franchise level, and making informed decisions on the allocation of budget and investment requests
- Managing revenue deliverables and any specific sector targets against key strategic projects and sales campaigns, as well as horizontal and vertical P&L
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
We’re looking for an experienced deal team manager with significant experience selling and structuring financing solutions across a broad range of products. Crucially, you'll need experience in specialty finance, insurance, asset management, wealth management, or pensions within the NBFI perimeter too.
You'll also bring:
- A track record of going above and beyond to deliver a personal and positive impact for your clients
- Proven success in leading origination teams to service top tier and complex client needs
- A broad business background and strong multi-jurisdictional focus to demonstrate your understanding of complex client demands
- A track record of high intensity and robust strategic delivery, including building new businesses from scratch
- A proven client network in the NBFI sector and extensive executive level stakeholder management skills
