Job Description

You’ll be supporting our Finance Manager to ensure our accounting function runs smoothly. The role will be focused on the key financial administration that supports the growth of our business. Currently we have 8 Shops and Ecommerce alongside our Wholesale Division.

In this role you’ll be responsible for,

  • Processing sales ledger invoices
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices
  • Ensuring the supplier statements are reconciled and follow up on any anomalies
  • Resolve queries relating to both purchase and sales ledger invoices
  • Preparing supplier payment runs for Director approval
  • Knowledge of Ecommerce Revenue
  • Bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions
  • Assisting in preparing for VAT Returns and Year Ends
  • General office admin and filing duties
  • Telephone answering as required
  • Ecommerce order processing
  • Occasionally you may be asked to support the Order processing team
  • Other Adhoc tasks as needed

Hours: 15-20 per week; by agreement

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Strong knowledge of Sage 50 Cloud Accounts Professional
  • Strong excel and general Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be a team player but be able to work on own initiative
  • Office based
  • Be willing to be flexible and priorities tasks

Experience:

  • Accounting/Bookeeeping: 2 years (preferred)
  • Sage: 2 years (required)
