The successful candidate will be expected to define and lead the implementation of best practice and therefore have a deep understanding of asset classes, instruments and investment processes. What you'll be doing

• Take key role within a centralized team responsible for defining best practice in investment process across investment teams in LGIM
• Enhance operational efficiency through promotion and facilitation of increased collaboration between investment teams.
• Provide thought leadership in introducing consistency in process design by working in partnership with investment teams – understanding their existing challenges and trade-offs to determining the right outcome for business areas and LGIM.
• Lead engagement with technology to define best in breed system solutions
• Lead engagement with business partners across middle and back office to develop a robust and scalable end-to-end investment framework
• Identify and review existing business over laps and recommend appropriate centralization
• Identify sources of operational risk in the investment process and determine appropriate solutions to mitigate these risks

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end investment process
• A deep appreciation of investment and operational risk
• Experience in technology migration and investment process design across asset classes and instruments
• Proven track record in increasing scalability in an investment context
• Ability to generate a positive outcome with stakeholders
• Experience in managing and overseeing the delivery of investment related initiatives
• Dynamic individual with outcome-oriented outlook
• Ability to assess and generate progressive solutions
• CFA or working towards
• Graduate with 2.1 or above
