Job Description

This is a varied management and financial accounting opportunity that will oversee an outsourced transactional finance function. They are keen to secure someone that can work closely with their Head of Finance to add value across the business, so analysis will be a key component of this role.

Responsibilities

• Support Founder and senior team to manage business performance, producing monthly business reporting, providing analysis and insight
• Work closely with the marketing team to support oversight and control of global marketing budgets
• First point of contact for the demand forecasting process
• Responsible for managing monthly bookkeeping, VAT returns and annual statutory accounts
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting for the shareholder
• Manage the Team Coordinator in raising quotes and invoices for customers, as well as expenses processes for Company Credit cards

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• ACA / CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification
• Mental strength to work in a fluid and dynamic environment, ability to adapt and pick things up as required
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to interpret and manipulate data
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Experience in the consumer goods space would be ideal, spirits would be even better
• Having the knowledge/experience of best practice but equally the pragmatism to know what can work in a start-up environment
