Job Description

This is a maternity cover role for 12 months with the potential of becoming permanent at the end. The salary starts at £28,000 per annum pro-rated to 3 days. We are looking to recruit another member to our busy office team. The role is 3 days per week, 9am - 5pm with an hour for lunch. We need someone who has the confidence to hit the ground running and have the ability to work on their own.

The main aspects of the role are:

  • Manning the office reception area
  • Reception and secretarial duties
  • Day to day invoicing for weddings and bridge club
  • Tracking and chasing payments
  • Taking bookings and payments for weddings
  • Answering wedding and function queries
  • Liaising with the Wedding Team
  • Organizing and monitoring maintenance required around the property
  • Providing office services for tenants at Brightwell Grange, including organizing post and greeting visitors
  • Manage office supplies
  • Assisting with health and safety compliance

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bookkeeping -
  • Bar takings to go onto Sage
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier bills onto Sage
  • Salary journal onto Sage
  • VAT return
  • Experience of managing an office
  • Office 365
  • Accounts package experience preferable but not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized
  • Confidence to work on own.

Education:

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • office administration: 2 years (required)
