Job Description

This role will see you interacting with almost every aspect of the Games as PIP plays a pivotal role in both the planning and delivery of the event.

As part of the planning, you will assist the team in preparing for a sequence of test events and readiness exercises to ensure that all the venues and the functional areas are ready for the Games. This will include learning about how we track progress towards the Games, risks to the events and how we plan to avoid them, understanding how decision making is made in the run up to the Games and how this changes at Games Time as well as working closely with both internal and external stakeholders across the West Midlands region.

You will also provide support to the PIP team in their operational delivery at Games Time, which will include working at the centre of the Games Control Centre. On top of all this, we will also require you to help with the team’s administration; including diary co-ordination, minute taking and presentation writing, and undertaking key tasks and projects.
