Job Description

The role sits in the Investment team where key stakeholders include the fund management, city teams and management board.

What You`ll Be Doing

  • Develop annual Investment valuation budget in line with Group timeframes is robust and deliver against the budget
  • Develop and deliver annual disposal budget and strategy
  • Develop and deliver annual acquisition budget and strategy Adding value through Gross Asset Value and capital recycling management
  • Adding value through Gross Asset Value and capital recycling management
  • Monitor and measure progress of valuations, acquisitions and disposals against budget
  • Monitor market transactions
  • Formation and management of project team to deliver transaction from bid process to technical, operational and legal due diligence to board approval, exchange and completion
  • Present and report against progress on the above to Management board as required
  • Proactively identify issues and work out solutions
  • Management of internal customers including fund management, City teams, area managers and external consultants including surveyors, legal firms, valuers, banks, fund investors
  • Formation and management of project teams to deliver transactions
  • Achieve any targets and KPIs as agreed with line manager
  • Responsibility for appointing consultants, transaction team Communicate with all key stakeholders
  • Organize and lead transaction teams
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of other areas of the business, and transactional activities of our competitors; keep up to date with trends and developments within own professional area

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • MRICS qualified
  • Demonstrable experience of property valuation and transactions
  • Commercial acumen and proven experience sourcing suitable investment and divestment opportunities
  • Ability to understand, interpret and advise on property financial and legal due diligence
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate meaningful conclusions from multiple and complex data
  • Well-developed communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence internal, external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel throughout the UK with a full driving license
