Job Description
  • Raising invoices and resolving invoice queries, ensuring payments are received on time. 
  • Validating and posting supplier invoices to the purchase ledger, ensuring invoices contain all the correct details.
  • Taking responsibility for the management of employee expenses, petty cash and commission 
  • Carry out bank reconciliations (Multi Currency) and resolving discrepancies ensuring ledgers are kept updated
  • General administrative duties within the accounts department including filing, mailbox management and reports 
  • Responsible for month end account procedures including journal postings, reconcile nominal accounts, profit and loss balance sheets 
  • Other duties include but not limited to holiday and sickness cover for sales administrator, update exchange rate monthly and general office duties.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience of Sage 50 / 200
  • Previous experience within a similar role is desirable.
  • Must have good attention to detail.
  • Ability to focus on your own work and work as part of a team
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Good working knowledge of computer hardware and widely used software packages, such as Microsoft Office

Experience:

  • Accounting: 2 years (required)
  • bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
