Job Description

• Lead the structuring and execution of specific UK Capital Markets transactions across our key funding channels (Structured Finance, Direct/Real Money Lending, Banks, and Funds).
• Lead the execution of trades; including but not limited to the complete commercial and legal negotiation of the transaction, and project manage all external and internal stakeholders and processes to close the transaction within defined time frames.
• Devise and lead new strategic product and structuring initiatives for the Capital Markets
• Work closely with the Capital Markets Distribution team to arrange and run due diligence sessions for new investors.
• Help drive the learning and development of junior members of the team, and actively contribute to the positive team environment
• Work closely with the broader global Capital Markets, Risk & Analytics, Strategy, Marketing and Communications teams as well as with external advisors and vendors.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• This will suit a person with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience at a premier investment bank, asset manager or hedge fund within a structuring / execution role
• Experienced in reviewing legal documents and analyzing financial models
• In-depth knowledge of structured credit and fixed income markets and experience in structuring transactions
• Knowledge of the various regulations and concerns affecting different investors (e.g. Banks, Insurance Companies, asset managers etc.).
• Ambitious, eager to learn and excited about working with highly motivated individuals in an entrepreneurial environment.
• A can-do attitude with the energy and resolve to lead and drive projects through to completion.
