Job Description

You’ll have the opportunity to define the structure and drive the entire treasury function to exactly balance the cash sources and uses required for the consistent management of the project. Our teams are set up to work flexibly and we provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively when not in the office. You’ll be responsible for defining the actions and processes that will manage the cash position of the project, aligning the project requirements managed by the financial teams and drawing on the credit lines raised in the market through the Financing Plan.
You’ll be managing inter-creditors agreements, debt compliance and debt management once credit facilities are negotiated (reporting, covenants, dividend certificates, waivers consents, etc.) and you’ll be accountable for the Funding Model in terms of securing detailed arrangements and schedules to align with the project cash requirements, working alongside the CFO and Financing Programme Manager.
You’ll build engagement with potential investors to understand their views within the development of the Funding Model and Financing Plan. The role will allow you to work closely with the Chairman, CEO and CFO to ensure financial arrangements support the stakeholder governance structure and reports to the Finance Committee of the company.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You’ll bring your proven ability of establishing/structing and leading a corporate treasury function/department at a senior level.
Extensive experience in delivering significant capital raising exercises and management of financial covenants and other debt document requirements is highly desirable.
You may have financial portfolio experience, for example previously operating cash lines management for a portfolio of assets; implementing a financing plan to raise debt and developing hedging instruments to minimize risk and provide cost certainty.
Good working knowledge of financing aspects and legal arrangements to finance / develop new infrastructure, ideally in a regulated environment is extremely beneficial.
You’re likely to be qualified to a degree level whether that may be in Economics, Finance or Engineering.
