Job Description

You will have demonstrable experience of managing a Credit Control department within a fast moving business. We require Credit Control Manager applicants.
Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of credit controllers to improve cash collection and deliver strategic and transformational change.
  • Owning and improving the ‘order to cash’ process, ensuring best practice is in place
  • Acting as a true leader to transform the function to a high-performing collections department, drastically reducing the size of aged debt
  • Arranging / signing off on payment plans, legal proceedings etc.
  • Maximizing liquidity via best use of credit insurance / factoring programmes

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Extensive relevant experience of managing a medium-sized Credit Control department with very high throughput of clients and diverse range of size of debt.
  • Evidence of delivering significant tactical improvements in a Corporate Credit Control department (i.e. increase collection rates)
  • Implementing strategic improvements (process and transformational change, team capability)
  • An influential leader, managing a large team of credit controllers, along with remote team management
  • Accustomed to operating under pressure- there are tough targets to meet and a continuous spotlight on Credit Control
