Job Description
You will have oversight of the international finance teams whilst overseeing their strategic development in line with the business's long-term plans, and helping to drive the implementation of companywide initiatives.
- Creation and delivery of the annual objectives that support the global finance department's 3-5 year plans
- Overall responsibility for the Accounting function including overseeing fiscal close, group reporting, budget holder support, accounting policies & procedures, balance sheet management, cash flow forecasts and audits whilst also working closely with the US head office finance team to ensure reporting requirements are met
- Management of the compliance team with the task of preparing the statutory accounts, tax filings & regulatory compliance
- Delivering on ad-hoc projects and strategic analysis to contribute to the Executive committee meetings and other key leadership sit downs.
- Ensure strong local financial governance and controls are in place across all territories
- Acquisition and investment appraisals as well as preparing the financial due diligence in support of business acquisitions
