Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for the preparation of annual and end of project finance and audit reports, as well as monthly and quarterly finance reports for restricted funded projects. The post holder reports to the Head of Finance and collaborates with other finance staff, departmental heads and project leads in providing accurate information for senior management and key stakeholders. The role is mainly project driven but not limited to project accounting. Responsible for providing accurate project information, generating detailed financial reports and budgets, liaising with statutory bodies on quarterly and yearly claims, variance analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, and providing administrative support to meet the stipulations of institutional donors.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will have experience of working on international projects within developing countries and the preparation of management financial reports. You will have strong knowledge and experience of dealing with different currencies for accurate reporting accounting software (Sage 50 Accounts) and intermediate to Advanced Excel skills. You will have accuracy in reporting detailed financial information, combined with skill at providing clear written commentary and overview. You will have excellent communications and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, auditors and donors.
