Job Description

This position will include a variety of Sales Administration and Accounting tasks, as well as the day-to-day management of suppliers and customers.

Duties will include:

  • Coding / Entering invoices and credit notes into the management system
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Invoicing off orders against purchase orders
  • Bank and Petty Cash Reconciliations
  • Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring invoices paid/ received by due dates
  • Staff expenses management including reconciliations and payment
  • VAT Return
  • General sales administration and support

This role will be Monday - Friday with a salary + bonus OTE of £23,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependent on experience and company benefits including 22 days holiday rising with service, plus bank holidays, onsite parking, employee assistance programme, staff discounts, health care and continued training and development.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills to deal with suppliers, customers and the wider finance team along with the ability to work to deadlines. Previous experience in Accounts, Admin and/or Finance role is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Sales administration: 2 years (required)
  • Accounting: 2 years (required)
