Job Description

My Client is one of the fast growing digital marketing companies in the world.  There are no full time qualified AR employees. Chasing debtors is performed by employees who combine this activity with other responsibilities. There is typically no cover for when these employees are on holiday. Processes are required to ensure invoices are sent promptly or entered onto customer portals.
The cadence of managing relationships and regular chasing and escalating needs to be established. Ideally a handover from the consultant will be arranged.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven ability to successfully set up a team and policies and processes for AR globally
  • Proven track record of lowering overdue debt and improving DSO and working capital
  • Ability to assess how many full time team members are required in which locations and language skills
  • Ability to establish priorities and understand the ERP implementation, including the delivery of management information in the right format to improve debtor days and analyze information for monthly board reports
  • Implement a global credit checking process and embedding this into onboarding of customers with regular checks
  • Review whether the current credit insurance policy should be maintained
  • Advise on how contract terms can be improved and aligned across the group to improve cash flow and working capital
  • Be part of the senior finance leadership team
  • Self-starter with ability to make an impact quickly
  • Work across Europe, US and Asia time zones and geographies
  • Produce concise and timely reports
  • Work with finance leadership team such as finance reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax
  • Comfortable with technology, has worked with Netsuite and other "cash tool
