Job Description
You’ll support services which work with some of our most vulnerable residents, so you must be a confident finance professional with a collaborative, open working style. You will work with service directors and their teams to make the best possible impact with the resources we have. Your performance will help us deliver an outstanding service to the residents and communities of company. You will be managing a team which key aim is to be responsible for financial and management accounting and reporting for both General Fund. You will also be the primary lead for coordinating the annual budget setting and closing process for each of the areas.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
We want only the best for company and we are seeking a qualified accountant with a strong background in finance, preferably in a social care and/or housing revenue account environment. You will have an excellent track record of achievement. The successful candidate will be expected to have sound financial and analytical abilities, strong leadership and excellent people and communication skills. You will work closely with the service directorate to understand their needs and help support them deliver departmental and corporate objectives.
