Job Description

In this key role, you’ll be delivering outstanding service to our private banking clients, while meeting business objectives by increasing the share of wallet. We’ll look to you to understand and meet each client’s individual needs by conducting client reviews, introducing products or other specialists when required. Throughout your work, you’ll monitor and control activity within a regulatory and compliance framework.

You’ll also be:

  • Providing a consistent, credible and accessible point of contact to your portfolio of clients, earning a trusted adviser status
  • Preparing client correspondence, including complex credit applications
  • Inputting timely and accurate client information as required by all the client information systems
  • Contributing to private banking targets by referring clients over to other teams and specialists, having identified client’s needs
  • Undertaking joint meetings with both regulated bankers and financial planners, and referring business to each as appropriate

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be successful in this role, you’ll need experience in banking or financial services, with a broad understanding and knowledge of financial products and services. A CeMAP, along with other financial qualifications would be an advantage, but crucially, you’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a service orientated culture.

  • Strong credit management and stewardship experience
  • A client centric approach
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
