The individual will play an important part in the reporting of the monthly income position and ensuring all revenue due to the Trust is received and accounted for.
The Income Accountant is accountable to the Head of Contracts, Income and Costing and reports directly to the Senior Income Accountant, supporting them in the timely and accurate reporting of clinical income.

You will already have experience of working within an income role, with advanced Excel skills, a working knowledge of Civica SLAM software and a good understanding of National Tariff and other national NHS payment guidance. Your excellent analytical skills will enable you to manipulate, analyze and understand large volumes of data and report your findings in line with local and national timetables.
You should be a self-confident and motivated individual, with an energetic and proactive approach, who has excellent organizational and time management skills, the ability to work to deadlines under pressure and with an eye for detail.
