Job Description

The finance team in company support each other to help achieve the overall objectives and to meet deadlines. You will receive in-depth training on Sapiens's systems and processes and we need you to be completely at home with managing large amounts of data and multiple systems.

Ideally, you will have been exposed to most of the tasks listed below, however, we are happy to provide training for anybody who is motivated to succeed in this role.

This is a hands-on role and the responsibilities listed below could be applicable for any of our Group entities in UK, EMEA and APAC.

• Preparation of full monthly management accounts
• Manage monthly payroll
• Customer billing and revenue recognition
• Adhoc management reporting and analysis
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines
• Preparation of year end statutory accounts and tax returns
• Manage relationship with external auditors within designated subsidiaries
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulatory SOX requirements
• Establish positive relationships with clients and colleagues

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• More than 5 years experience of working in a Finance team, ideally a Global company, where you have had exposure of all aspects of accountancy and finance tasks
• Knowledge of financial regulations including SOX, UK GAAP and IFRS reporting
• Knowledge of revenue recognition
• Excellent working knowledge and hands-on use of SAP Business One, or a similar large system
• Excellent Excel skills and experience of working with large systems and large amounts of data
• A self-starter - somebody who is highly motivated and driven to succeed
• Being able to communicate well in English (written & verbal) is essential, as you will be working with many International colleagues
• Excellent organizational skills with the need to complete/finish each task
• Ability to manage your own workload whilst being mindful of the bigger picture
• As a listed company quoted on various exchanges, you will be working as part of a team to help achieve and support the meeting of tight deadlines.
• A Levels in Math and English 
• Educated to degree level in Finance/Accountancy, or an equivalent qualification
