Job Description
  • Support billing process ensuring accurate and timely invoicing of projects
  • Manage credit control ensuring debt is chased and visibility of outstanding debts is provided to the business
  • Work with central finance team on staff expenses process in Rapport
  • Support Rapport project management system to ensure financial information is accurate and maintained appropriately e.g. projects set up appropriately and cost rates are up to date
  • Review and approve fortnightly payment run
  • Provide financial information for annual insurance renewals
  • Ultimately responsible for accuracy of monthly P&L and B/S and year-end cut off.
  • Support revenue recognition process ensuring timely billing of fees, accurate timesheets, and revenue accrued/deferred where applicable.
  • Ensure subcontractor accruals are maintained in line with work delivered.
  • Reconcile customer payments with sales invoices in Rapport
  • Managing relationship with central finance team, ensuring transactional and accounting issues are resolved and service levels are addressed.
  • Manage audit queries and ultimately responsible for audit sign off.
  • Review of year-end tax computation
  • Collaborate with central finance team on standardization of processes
  • Support central finance team to ensure timely completion of management accounts.
  • Responsible for review and ultimate sign off of management accounts and timely delivery to management team.
  • Deliver monthly reporting requirements for Group e.g. order backlog analysis
  • Work with Ops Director to produce annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Responsible for delivery of budgets and forecasts to Group and any supplementary analysis
  • Preparation of monthly cash flow forecast and working capital assumptions
  • Support management team in the production of key management information including team fees, profitability, and utilization.
  • Support Operation Manager with the production of rolling forecasts
  • Support with ad-hoc analysis where required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Must-have technical skills: ability to close out month-ends, understand revenue recognition/deferred revenue, budgeting & forecasting, experience within the design and creative sector desirable
Competencies: excellent communication skills
